Preparation Prior to a Survey
Site Location
Once we know the exact site location, we can begin to check for any air Hazzard’s or restrictions, then we can confirm that we are able to carry out the required survey
Checking NOTAMs
Site Specific Assessment
Our next stage is to run through a comprehensive site and risk assessment, this allow us to operate within our operational authorisation and to ensure that our staff and anyone else present is kept safe throughout the aerial operation.
Checking the sites geolocation for any possible issues
On the Day
After making contact with the site manager/relevant person to confirm that the survey shall go ahead, we then contact Police Scotland, and any airports if we are within their FRZ or close to other air operators. Once our on site checklist is complete, we will then proceed to set up for commencement of the aerial survey
